    HTML question

So. Sort of like Broken Sound, Ive recently started a blog. Mainly because im not computer literate enough to have an acutal website yet and this seems like the best route to go for what it is that I want to do.

I want to be a book critic. I write reviews on everything Ive been reading lately. And so I want to make a blog site that showcases my reviews.

Although. Instead of having just one big blog with a random assortment of review posts, I want for it to be a little more organized. I know exactly what I want. And for the most part have figured out how to do it, although Im having an HTML issue.

I have created several different blogs under my account. Childrens Reviews. Nonfiction Reviews. Fiction Reviews. Classics. I also have my MAIN blog. Sort of the "front page" titled Who Moved My Cheese.

Under the title of Who Moved My Cheese and above the picture of the little cute mouse with a big ol slice of cheddar I want links that will take people to the other sub-blogs. I want a link that says Children. Nonfiction. Fiction...etc.

I knew abosolutly nothing about HTML when I started screwing around with this idea a week or so ago. And have learned a little bit since then.

AND, I even figured out how to, in the "about me" section, type in a line of HTML to create the links! I was so pumped when I made my first one. Then I tried to make my second one and I get a little red message from Blogspot saying that my About Me section can only contain 500 characters and that Ive reached that limit.

    Nooooo!

I tried putting in the same code into my HTML souce or whatever. And it didnt work.

    Here is the tag:

    <a href="http://childrenreviews.blogspot.com" rel="tag">Children</a>

This worked in my "about me" section. But not in the actual HTML script. Why not? What am I doing wrong? How can I achieve what I want.

And please dont use high tech computer lingo when helping me. Im really not comptuer literate what-so-ever. Although im desperatly trying to figure it out.

    Thank you.

Are you not using a site like WordPress, etc. to make your blog? It really eliminated any need for html.

You use templates like Wordpress and buy your own domain to attach it to. Also I would suggest to download Microsoft's Live Writer - it hooks up to blogs and makes updates incredibly easy.

If you use Wordpress you won't have to code and you can actual do subdivisions in one blog, instead of having multiple blogs and linking them together.
